In a 2011 interview, Ramona had the following to say about the series and the man himself: “Due South was an untouchable experience because we all got along. Paul was fantastic because he recognized a good idea whether it was conceived by him or not. His ego was not so fragile that he wouldn’t do something for the benefit of the show because it hadn’t been written or conceived by him. He would laugh hysterically at an idea then all of a sudden he’d come walking down the hall with re-writes and we’d find ourselves incorporating the joke in to the script.
